  • Control and maintaining Import/Export regulation requirement per market segment
  • Ensure smooth Shipment export & import following world wide regulations

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the following standards.
  • CB Scheme, EMC, VCCI, Laser safety , FCC, ESD, Electromagnetic
  • Knowledge of the follow registration
  • ECCN, EAN, UPC, Harmonized tariff, etc.
  • Good English skills– (Write, Read, and speak)

Component Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

DustPhotonics is growing and looking for a Component Engineer for our OPS Team.

Responsibilities

· Define, control and support components selection (OTS & custom design.)

· Promoting component standardization, commonality/re-use & ensuring operational requirements are met

· Product BOM review, risk-assessment, and analysis.

· Provide 2nd source possibilities & support activities for 2nd source qualification.

· Ensure component handshake between component manufacturer & CMs (FAI, COC)

· Continuous database monitor & projection. - Single source, PCNs, EOL, Alternatives.

· Work closely with all the groups: NPI, RnD, PE, ME solving component related issues enabling smooth production.

· Component sourcing ensuring robust supply chain.

· Document & review all component aspects ensuring component attributes are being addressed in design, assembly and production.

· Assisting in material Change control, and material Failure Analysis by using non-destructive and destructive methods.

· Approving and reviewing new manufacturers proposals.

Requirements

· 4-5 years’ experience as a component engineer.

· Understanding of Environmental requirements. (ROHS, REACH, Low-halogen, MDDS, FMD, CMRT)

· Knowledge of electronic card manufacturing, PCB manufacturing, Plastic injection, Zink casting,

· Ability to read electronics / mechanical drawings and datasheets.

· Good English skills– (Write, Read, and speak)

· Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent bachelor’s degree.

Advantage

· Cross section, FA experience.

· Understanding in electro-optics. (Lasers, Photodetectors, etc.)

· Understanding of SMT assembly process. (IPC600/610/6012/J-std-20D)

Process Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

DustPhotonics is looking for a skilled Process engineer with proven data analysis proficiency for the manufacturing and product engineering team.

Roles and responsibilities:

· Develop, analyze, and troubleshoot production processes using engineering tools, methods, and techniques.

· Drive continuous improvement & optimization activities to meet production targets, including capacity, quality, and performance.

· Identify critical process parameters and quality attributes and conduct experiments using Design of Experiments (DOE) methods to determine the sensitivity and acceptable process window.

Collaborate with R&D on new Product implementation. Identify production needs and execute processes.

· Process and test-related data analysis using known tools such as Tableau, JMP, Minitab etc.

· Execute data-driven failure analysis activities.

· Present data analysis reports in Eng. and management forums.

Requirements:

· B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Chemical / Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.

· 5+ years Hands-on skills as a Process Engineer in the manufacturing environment.

· Good knowledge in statistical tools (such as SPC, MSA, Pareto, ANOVA etc.) and quality tools (such as FMEA, Cause, and Effect Diagram, 8D etc.).

· Experience with data analysis tools, such as Tableau, JMP, Minitab etc.

Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.

· Excellent English communication skills both in speaking and writing.

Physicist­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

Requirements & Responsibilities:

Expert in diode lasers with deep knowledge in laser physics and characterization methods (communication industry - advantage).

  1. Ph.D. on laser diodes/MSc with relevant experience
  2. Experience in lab work


The role will include:

  1. Ownership of all laser performance and testing and reliability across the company
  2. Work with external suppliers to develop a laser for our Silicon Photonics program
  3. Design and build testing stations for automated laser characterization

Test Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel
HW Test Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

DustPhotonics is looking for HW Test Engineer who would like to be a part of our electro-optical verification team!

 Background:

DustPhotonics designs High-speed optical connectivity solutions for Data Centers, High Performance Computing (HPC) and Enterprise, operating at 100, 400 and 800 Gb/s

Our technology solves the traditional problem of optical modules – coupling the optical signal within the module.

Our Verification and Validation team performs Electrical and Optical measurements in accordance to the industry standards, for ensuring reliable design and manufacturing.

The Test Engineer will be involved in all post design measurements and debugs, operating various lab equipment as Electrical and Optical oscilloscopes, Spectrum and network analyzers, Traffic Generators and Error Detectors.

 

Requirements:

·         B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering

·         2+ years of post-silicon Verification experience, or any other HW verification in lab conditions

·         Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum and network analyzers

·         Experience in High-speed devices characterization – advantage

Quality and Reliability Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

These days DustPhotonics is looking for a Qualification and Reliability Engineer who will be responsible for the product qualification and reliability activities of optoelectrical components and modules at telecom industry (typically per Telcordia GR-468 core).

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

•          Define and manage the product qualification plan.

•          Test and setup definition

•          Pre\post test report writing

•          Lead qualification execution at subcontractors labs

•          Coordinate qualification schedule - people and test station resources.

•          Define product certification per industry standard.

 

Qualifications:

•          More than 5 years of experience in the areas of Quality and Reliability

Physicist junior­ - Location: Modiin, Israel
RF Test Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

The Silicon Photonics Team is looking for an RF Test Engineer that will be responsible for test and characterization of advanced photonics devices for RF circuits, including DC, RF, and Load Pull characterization.

Develop test procedures and strategies to carry out system testing, as well as design test fixtures for system testing.

Skill Set Desired

  • MS, or BS with 2+ years of experience in relevant technical disciplines
  • Perform RF load-pull characterization of devices. This includes performing system calibration, test fixture development/assembly, and data collection of power sweeps and load-pull contours.
  • Signal integrity design experience - an advantage.
  • Perform s-parameter characterization of devices using a network analyzer.
  • Assemble and tune broadband and narrow-band test circuits to support both design and test engineering.
  • Perform RF and DC characterization of devices as required using either an automated or manual probe station.
  • Strong background and hands-on experience in RF testing including load pull, s-parameters, noise, and power testing.
  • Required a hands-on approach to solving problems, including working in the lab to debug circuit designs, test issues, and perform custom RF testing.
  • Required strong background in test bench setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure data integrity.
  • Understanding of semiconductor physics.
Signal Integrity Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

Key Qualifications 

 

  • You should be familiar with signal and power integrity issues of high speed serial interfaces 
  • Experience working with the actual product package/board design and analysis, SI/PI methodology development, and lab correlation/validation of the simulation results 
  • Familiarity with lab equipment, such as: VNA, TDR, real-time scope, spectrum analyzer, etc 
  • Possess strong fundamentals in 3D/2D EM simulation tools and transmission line theory 
  • Good communication skills 

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Work with internal teams to define and specify SI and PI requirements to meet cost, schedule and performance objectives 
  • Develop and maintain test procedures to validate and improve SI and PI requirements 
  • Collaborate to ensure systems meet significant quality, reliability and service level requirements for a cloud environment 

 

Qualifications 

 

  • BS/MS Electrical Engineering 
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in interconnect technology, SI/PI design and/or 2D/3D MW component design od W.G, antennae etc.  
  • Knowledge and experience with copper and optical connectivity 
  • Experience developing interconnect electrical budget, component and channel specifications, and SI/PI test plans 
  • Lab experience validating and debugging complex high-speed designs 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
