These days, during COVID-19 pandemic, DustPhotonics continues to grow and is looking for an end-to-end and big-minded Python Automation engineer with extensive experience using Python and Real-Time modules to create robust data acquisition, timing, and control software to interface with testing instruments.

As a Python developer, you will collaborate with hardware and testing engineers to define, design, develop, test, debug, and maintain Python code for automatic testing systems.

Roles and responsibilities

· Full ownership on automatic testing stations SW

· Create, modify and maintain Python applications for automatic testing systems

· Work with hardware and testing engineers to specify software requirements

· Establish and execute test and evaluation procedures

· Document software, including requirements, design, code, user manuals

Required previous experience:

· 3+ years Hands-on skills as an end-to-end Python developer

· Experience with real-time data acquisition and equipment control

· Hands-on experience with equipment API / client service

· Familiarity with standard diagnostic equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers etc.)

· Experience with UI – Advantage

· Experience in a start-up company - advantage

Required Skills:

DustPhotonics is growing and looking for a talented Integration Engineer to join our System Engineering team.

 

This Is What You’ll Do

  • Design and participate HW/SW/Optical and mechanical integration tests
  • Set up and run validation tests on high speed electro-optical component.
  • Support complex debugs of system issues.
  • Support technical root cause and resolution of issues found during test
  • Document test results and provide test reports.
  • Utilize test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters.
  • Fabricate special test equipment and setups supporting development and validation testing.
  • Fabricate mechanical fixtures and jigs.
  • Ability to use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with other analysis tools (jmp, Matlab, etc.) - advantage

Principal System Validation Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

DustPhotonics is growing and looking for a talented System Validation Engineer to join our system validation team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • An expert and technical lead, responsible for the validation and verification of DustPhotonics electro-optical Designs.
  • Defining, planning and performing optical and electrical tests based on the industry standards (IEEE 802.3 & OIF) and customers’ requests.
  • Leading complex debugs of system problems.

 

Requirements:

  • BSc in electrical engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware testing of electrical/electro-optical products
  • Experience in network communication
  • Experience with generating test cases and bug tracking
  • Experience with test & measurement such as oscilloscopes, traffic/signal generators, Vector-Network and spectrum analyzers 
  • Familiarity with the high-speed industry (>10 Gb/s) - an advantage

We are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our R&D department.

The position includes managing multidisciplinary projects of of-the-shelve products, from concept stage to General Availability to Customers.

 

Qualifications


  • B.Sc. or higher in Physics / Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as Project Manager in R&D multi-disciplinary-environments - required
  • Proven experience Managing R&D projects that were released to customers - required
  • Experience in managing outsourced projects - significant advantage
  • Background in RF, Networking, Optics, Optical Communication Networks – significant advantage
  • Experience in managing projects in both waterfall and Agile – an advantage

SIgnal Integrity Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

We are looking for a passionate Signal Integrity expert with experience in signal and power integrity issues of high-speed serial interfaces

Key Qualifications

· Expert in leading the SI efforts of actual products/packages/boards - design and analysis,

· SI/PI methodology development expertise and lab correlation/validation of the simulation results abilities.

· Experience with 3D/2D EM simulation tools and transmission line theory.

· Deep knowledge of lab equipment, such as VNA, TDR, real-time scope, spectrum analyzer, etc.

Responsibilities

· Full responsibility of defining SI and PI requirements to meet cost, schedule and performance objectives.

· Develop and maintain test procedures to validate and improve SI and PI requirements.

· Collaborate to ensure systems meet significant quality, reliability, and service level requirements for a Data Centers environment

Requirements

· BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering

· 6+ years of relevant experience in interconnect technology, SI/PI design and 2D/3D MW component design or W.G, antenna etc.

· Knowledge and experience with copper connectivity

· Experience developing interconnect electrical budget, component and channel specifications, and SI/PI test plans

SW/FW Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

We are looking for a passionate SW/FW engineer.

Responsibilities 

  • Developing firmware for the company products (C programing), and applications (Python / C#) and support costumers in qualification process.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the R&D team (System, HW, System validation, Mechanics) to ensure products meet significant quality, reliability, and service level requirements for a Data Centers environment 


Requirements

  • At lease 5 years of experience as a SW/FW engineer.
  • B.Sc In computer engineering, or computer science.
  • Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems
  • Proficiency in Python / C# programming for PC applications
  • Knowledge of low level communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI).
  • Low level MCU programming.

Advantages

System Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

We are looking for a talented system engineer to join our R&D department (system engineering group).

The position includes Engineering leading of multidisciplinary projects from the requirements stage to the delivery to the customer, support and leadership of development teams and responsible for system design and integration.

Among the variety of our projects, the system engineer will define our next generation products as well our tests and validation platforms.

 

Qualifications

 

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in system development and engineering in multi-disciplinary-environments - Required
  • Proven experience working with multidisciplinary systems and project support from the definition of requirements to supply to the customer- Required
  • Experience in optics / electronics - Significant advantage

RFIC Design Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

The Silicon Photonics Team is looking for an RFIC Design Engineer that will be responsible for test and characterization of advanced photonics devices for RF circuits, including DC, RF, and Load Pull characterization.

Develop test procedures and strategies to carry out system testing, as well as design test fixtures for system testing.

Skill Set Desired

  • MS, or BS with 2+ years of experience in relevant technical disciplines
  • Perform RF load-pull characterization of devices. This includes performing system calibration, test fixture development/assembly, and data collection of power sweeps and load-pull contours.
  • Signal integrity design experience - an advantage.
  • Perform s-parameter characterization of devices using a network analyzer.
  • Assemble and tune broadband and narrow-band test circuits to support both design and test engineering.
  • Perform RF and DC characterization of devices as required using either an automated or manual probe station.
  • Strong background and hands-on experience in RF testing including load pull, s-parameters, noise, and power testing.
  • Required a hands-on approach to solving problems, including working in the lab to debug circuit designs, test issues, and perform custom RF testing.
  • Required strong background in test bench setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure data integrity.
  • Understanding of semiconductor physics.
