Failure Analysis Manager­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

We are looking for an ambitious and passionate FA/RMA manager with experience in leading FA and RMA processes and reliability processes.

As a FA/RMA manager, you will be responsible on increasing the product quality, analyzing failures and lab work.


Responsibilities

·      Manage Failure Analysis and RMA processes.

·      Manage product qualification and certification.

·      Manage FA and RMA team.

·      Take part of task forces.

·      Recommend design and production improvements to enhance product reliability and yield.

·      Manage students and day/night shifts.

 

Requirements

·      B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in material / Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.

·      At least 5 years of hands-on skills as a failure analysis engineer in R&D environment, including 2 years in a lead role.

·      Good knowledge in statistical tools and quality tools (such as FMEA, Cause and Effect Diagram, 8D etc.).

·      Experience with data analysis tools, such as Tableau, JMP, Minitab etc.

·      Excellent English communication skills both in speaking and writing.

·      Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

·      Excellent technical capability, verbal and written documentation skills.

·      Excellent interpersonal skills and high motivation.

·      Experience in the optoelectronics devices industry– Advantage.

 

Firmware Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

 DustPhotonics is growing and looking for a talented Firmware Engineer.

Responsibilities 

  • Design and develop firmware (C programming).
  • Take full responsibility for the FW deliveries: quality, schedule, content.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the R&D team (System, HW, System validation, Mechanics) to ensure products meet significant quality, reliability, and service level requirements for a Data Centers environment.
  • Troubleshoot system, performance, and functional issues with the firmware.
  • Assist in optimizing firmware to achieve performance standards.
  • Provide product support to customers promptly and accurately.

  Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as an embedded software developer.
  • Hands-on and proficiency in C programming for embedded systems.
  • Deep understanding of processor architecture, SW-HW interfaces and Operating Systems.
  • Experience in bare metal development or on top of a RTOS.
  • Proven deep Knowledge of low-level communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI).

Firmware Validation Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

Today we're looking for a Firmware Validation Engineer for out V&V Group at R&D Department.

This Is What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop and execute tests for the new firmware features.
  • Write scripts and programs to automate the execution of tests and data analysis in existing automation framework.
  • Report bugs found during execution, assist with reproduction and debugs to understand root cause, verify bug fixes provided by R&D team, raise if not fixed.
  • Execute tests in different scopes, including functional and regression tests, report progress of testing and provide summary reports of testing activity.
  • Generate EEPROM files for different settings and customers.
  • Work in close co-operation with firmware developers and validation engineers.

 

This Is What You’ll Need

  • BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineer
  • 0-4 years of experience in software validation or firmware validation
  • Scripting skills and experience in Python

·      Experience with version control and Git

·      Familiarity with lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.

·      Clear verbal and written communication, proficient written and spoken English.

  • Self-learner and independent worker, able to plan and execute in area of responsibility.

Mechanical Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

DustPhotonics is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join its mechanical engineering group and be a key player in the mechanical development of optical connectivity products.

As a member of our Mechanical group, you'll be responsible for developing all DustPhotonics line of products.

The position requires the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment, working closely with Hardware Engineers, Operations and Product managers. Responsibilities include the planning, designing and developing of product, tools and fixtures - including implementation- testing, documentation and preparation of the product for high volume manufacturing.

Requirements:

B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from known institution

4+ years’ experience in the development of complex multi-disciplinary mechanical systems

Experience with some of the following various production technologies:

  • Machining (milling) - must
  • PCB design – advantage
  • Sheet metal
  • Metal die casting
  • Plastic injection molding

Excellent knowledge & experience with Solidworks for mechanical design – must

Experience in drawings and production files preparation – must

Define and design tools and fixtures for mass production – advantage

System Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

Responsibilities

·       Engineering leadership of our next generation transceivers

Laser Expert - Physicist­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

 Requirements & Responsibilities:

Expert in diode lasers with deep knowledge in laser physics and characterization methods (communication industry - advantage).

  1. Ph.D. on laser diodes / MSc with relevant experience
  2. Experience in lab work

 

The role will include:

  1. Design and build testing stations for laser characterization.

Senior Physicist­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

DustPhotonics is looking for an experienced Physicist to develop integrated photonic circuits (PICs) in silicon photonics technology.

The role consists of:

1. Design of components based on Silicon Photonics technology

2.Leading the design and construction of experimental arrays for the characterization of photonic components.

3. Measurement and characterization of complex silicon photonics circuits, including modulators, passive components, laser coupling, and fiber.

4. Analysis of results

Requirements:

• Experience working on an optical lab

• Knowledge of one of the programs: LabView, Matlab, Python

Experience in designing and characterizing integrated photonic circuits (integrated optics) - an advantage

Familiarity with the production processes of photonic components - an advantage

Background:

Master's degree/PhD in physics or electrical engineering in relevant fields

Signal Integrity Expert­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

Silicon Photonics Department is responsible for designing next generation of ultra-high-speed transceiver for data-center applications. As this product convert electrical signal to optical signal, we need an expert who will lead the design of signal integrity and RF to maximize its performance. This role requires intimate knowledge of EM simulation tools, lab measurement equipment, and analysis for successful design of devices, PCBs, and packaging solutions. You are expected to be open-minded and demonstrate creativity for solving complex engineering challenges.

Requirements

·      Master's degree/Ph.D. in physics or electrical engineering in relevant fields

·      6+ years of relevant experience in signal integrity as well as design and analysis of devices, such as printed filters, waveguides, and antennas, at RF and microwave frequencies

·      Experience in lab measurements for validating and debugging complex high-speed designs; Familiarity with lab equipment such as VNA, TDR, real-time scope, and spectrum analyzer

·      Experience with EM simulation tools and analysis such as ADS and HFSS

·      Experience with processing and analysis using programming software, such as Python or MATALB

·      Experience in RF system analysis including link budget as well as component specifications – Advantage

·      Knowledge and experience with optical interconnects, including NRZ/PAM-4 signaling schemes - Advantage.
