Process Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

DustPhotonics is looking for a skilled Process engineer with proven data analysis proficiency for the manufacturing and product engineering team.

Roles and responsibilities:

· Develop, analyze, and troubleshoot production processes using engineering tools, methods, and techniques.

· Drive continuous improvement & optimization activities to meet production targets, including capacity, quality, and performance.

· Identify critical process parameters and quality attributes and conduct experiments using Design of Experiments (DOE) methods to determine the sensitivity and acceptable process window.

Collaborate with R&D on new Product implementation. Identify production needs and execute processes.

· Process and test-related data analysis using known tools such as Tableau, JMP, Minitab etc.

· Execute data-driven failure analysis activities.

· Present data analysis reports in Eng. and management forums.

Requirements:

· B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Chemical / Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.

· 5+ years Hands-on skills as a Process Engineer in the manufacturing environment.

· Good knowledge in statistical tools (such as SPC, MSA, Pareto, ANOVA etc.) and quality tools (such as FMEA, Cause, and Effect Diagram, 8D etc.).

· Experience with data analysis tools, such as Tableau, JMP, Minitab etc.

Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.

· Excellent English communication skills both in speaking and writing.

Product and Test Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

DustPhotonics is looking for a product engineer to participate in the production of advanced optical communication devices

Roles and responsibilities

· Define and characterize cost effective and automated manufacturing test solutions for production line.

· Control optical product technology, architecture and design to define test coverage and support debug.

· Optimize current test solutions for efficient factory operations to reduce cost and mfg. cycle times.

· Support yield and quality improvement team activities to improve quality of the mfg process and customer field quality.

· Manage test strategy and implementation of the test solutions.

· Take part in DFT for circuit boards, component selection and communication protocols.

· Perform FA on yield drops and field failures.

· Collaborate with R&D on new product implementation. Identify production test needs and execute processes.

· Provide necessary technical support for test development, V&V and production ATE engineers.

· Training and monitoring production personnel on proper testing techniques and policies.

Requirements:

· B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical / computer engineering or related discipline.

· 3+ years of professional test and automation experience in industrial telecommunication.

· Proficiency in statistical analysis tools: pivot table, JMP, MiniTab or equivalent.

Failure Analysis Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

DustPhotonics continues to grow and is looking for a skilled Failure analysis R&D Engineer.

 

Roles and responsibilities:

 

Evaluate electrical, thermal, processes and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits, components, sub-components, and systems to determine root cause of failure and to enhance product yield, performance, quality and reliability.

 

Develop new problem solving tools including diagnostic\analytical tools and tests methodologies to ensure efficient failure analysis capabilities.

 

analyze failure reports and recommend corrective action to prevent reoccurrence of problems

 

Investigate and analyze design\manufacturing failures in a timely and accurate manner for both production failures and customer returns.

 

 

Requirements:

Requirements & Responsibilities:

Expert in diode lasers with deep knowledge in laser physics and characterization methods (communication industry - advantage).

  1. Ph.D. on laser diodes/MSc with relevant experience
  2. Experience in lab work


The role will include:

  1. Ownership of all laser performance and testing and reliability across the company
  2. Work with external suppliers to develop a laser for our Silicon Photonics program
  3. Design and build testing stations for automated laser characterization

Responsibilities:

Design High-speed (50GHz) boards. Incl' DSP, MCU, Lasers and Laser drivers. HDI technologies.

Design Test boards to support bring-up and production phases.

System ownership - work with all groups - mechanic, optics, SW and NPI to bring the product form design to GA.

 

Requirements:

BSc in electrical engineering.

Minimum of 6 years’ experience in board design.

Designing products from architecture to mass production, responsible for all development phases.

Experienced in:

High-speed board design and layout considerations.

Digital and analog circuit design.

We are looking for an ambitious and passionate FA/RMA manager with experience in leading FA and RMA processes and reliability processes.

As a FA/RMA manager, you will be responsible on increasing the product quality, analyzing failures and lab work.

Responsibilities

· Manage FA and RMA processes

· Manage product qualification

· Recommend design and production improvements to enhance product reliability and yield

· Prototype build and transfer to production (NPI)

System Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

System Engineer Position

 

We are looking for a talented system engineer to join our R&D department (system engineering group).

The position includes Engineering leading of multidisciplinary projects from the requirements stage to the delivery to the customer, support and leadership of development teams and responsible for system design and integration.

Among the variety of our projects, the system engineer will define our next generation products as well our tests and validation platforms.

 

Qualifications

 

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in system development and engineering in multi-disciplinary-environments - Required
  • Proven experience working with multidisciplinary systems and project support from the definition of requirements to supply to the customer- Required

Responsibilities:

  • An expert and technical lead, responsible for the validation and verification of DustPhotonics electro-optical Designs.
  • Defining, planning and performing optical and electrical tests based on the industry standards (IEEE 802.3 & OIF) and customers’ requests.
  • Leading complex debugs of system problems.

 

Requirements:

  • BSc in electrical engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware testing of electrical/electro-optical products

Today we are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. 

You’ll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production.

A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to details and safety standards.

On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.

The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
  • Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
  • Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
  • Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
  • Test operation of machines periodically
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
  • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
  • Maintain activity logs

RFIC Design Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

The Silicon Photonics Team is looking for an RFIC Design Engineer that will be responsible for test and characterization of advanced photonics devices for RF circuits, including DC, RF, and Load Pull characterization.

Develop test procedures and strategies to carry out system testing, as well as design test fixtures for system testing.

Skill Set Desired

  • MS, or BS with 2+ years of experience in relevant technical disciplines
  • Perform RF load-pull characterization of devices. This includes performing system calibration, test fixture development/assembly, and data collection of power sweeps and load-pull contours.
  • Signal integrity design experience - an advantage.
  • Perform s-parameter characterization of devices using a network analyzer.
  • Assemble and tune broadband and narrow-band test circuits to support both design and test engineering.
  • Perform RF and DC characterization of devices as required using either an automated or manual probe station.
  • Strong background and hands-on experience in RF testing including load pull, s-parameters, noise, and power testing.
  • Required a hands-on approach to solving problems, including working in the lab to debug circuit designs, test issues, and perform custom RF testing.
  • Required strong background in test bench setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure data integrity.
  • Understanding of semiconductor physics.
