Process Engineering Lead­ - Location: Modiin /Yokneam

These days, during COVID-19 pandemic, DustPhotonics continues to grow and is looking for a motivated and experienced Sr. Process engineer with leadership capabilities to lead process transfer and development of company’s new products and technologies.

As the process engineering leader, you will lead the process handshake with R&D and Silicon photonics teams, own the full transfer from prototype level to production level and develop required capabilities for HVM.

At first stage, the work will be concentrated in Yokne’am and Modiin.

After ~6 months, you will also be responsible for transferring the process to our HVM production site in Thailand.

Willing to travel ~6 times / year.

Roles and responsibilities

· Lead smooth process transfer of new products with R&D and SiP departments.

· Bring up low volume production capabilities in Israel.

· Lead process activities for yield and capacity improvements.

· Recommend design improvements to enhance product reliability and yield

· Manage CM (contract manufacturer) process related activities

Required previous experience:

· 5+ years Hands-on skills as a Process Engineer

· Leadership / management experience

· Good knowledge in statistical tools and quality tools (such as FMEA, Cause and Effect Diagram, 8D etc.).

· Data analysis tools (such as Tableau, JMP, Minitab etc.)

· Experience and “hands-on” knowledge of optical components, packaging equipment and materials (wire-bonding, P&P, epoxy, etc.) - an advantage

Required Skills:

Product Test Engineering (PTE) Lead­ - Location: Modiin /Yokneam

A motivated and experienced Sr. Product engineer to lead the design and implementation of high-performance hardware and software to test our leading-edge products in production.

As the PTE leader, you will be responsible for production oriented definition, execution and implementation of all testing capabilities for HVM.

  • At first stage, the work will be concentrated in Yokne’am and Modiin.
  • After ~6 months, you will also be responsible for transferring the process to our HVM production site in Thailand.

As a Python developer, you will collaborate with hardware and testing engineers to define, design, develop, test, debug, and maintain Python code for automatic testing systems.

Roles and responsibilities

· Full ownership on automatic testing stations SW

· Create, modify and maintain Python applications for automatic testing systems

· Work with hardware and testing engineers to specify software requirements

· Establish and execute test and evaluation procedures

· Document software, including requirements, design, code, user manuals

Required previous experience:

Responsibilities:

Design High-speed (50GHz) boards. Incl' DSP, MCU, Lasers and Laser drivers. HDI technologies.

Design Test boards to support bring-up and production phases.

System ownership - work with all groups - mechanic, optics, SW and NPI to bring the product form design to GA.

 

Requirements:

BSc in electrical engineering.

Minimum of 6 years’ experience in board design.

Designing products from architecture to mass production, responsible for all development phases.

Experienced in:

High-speed board design and layout considerations.

We are looking for a passionate Signal Integrity expert with experience in signal and power integrity issues of high-speed serial interfaces

Key Qualifications

· Expert in leading the SI efforts of actual products/packages/boards - design and analysis,

· SI/PI methodology development expertise and lab correlation/validation of the simulation results abilities.

· Experience with 3D/2D EM simulation tools and transmission line theory.

· Deep knowledge of lab equipment, such as VNA, TDR, real-time scope, spectrum analyzer, etc.

Responsibilities

· Full responsibility of defining SI and PI requirements to meet cost, schedule and performance objectives.

· Develop and maintain test procedures to validate and improve SI and PI requirements.

· Collaborate to ensure systems meet significant quality, reliability, and service level requirements for a Data Centers environment

Requirements

· BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities 

  • Developing firmware for the company products (C programing), and applications (Python / C#) and support costumers in qualification process.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the R&D team (System, HW, System validation, Mechanics) to ensure products meet significant quality, reliability, and service level requirements for a Data Centers environment 


Requirements

  • At lease 5 years of experience as a SW/FW engineer.
  • B.Sc In computer engineering, or computer science.
  • Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems
  • Proficiency in Python / C# programming for PC applications
  • Knowledge of low level communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI).
  • Low level MCU programming.

System Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

We are looking for a talented system engineer to join our R&D department (system engineering group).

The position includes Engineering leading of multidisciplinary projects from the requirements stage to the delivery to the customer, support and leadership of development teams and responsible for system design and integration.

Among the variety of our projects, the system engineer will define our next generation products as well our tests and validation platforms.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in system development and engineering in multi-disciplinary-environments - Required

  • Leading complex debugs of system problems.

This Is What You’ll Do

  • Set up and run validation tests on high speed electro-optical component.
  • Support complex debugs of system issues.
  • Support technical root cause and resolution of issues found during test
  • Document test results and provide test reports.
  • Utilize test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters.
  • Fabricate special test equipment and setups supporting development and validation testing.

You’ll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production.

A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to details and safety standards.

On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.

The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
  • Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
  • Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
  • Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
  • Test operation of machines periodically
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
  • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products

RFIC Design Engineer­ - Location: Modiin, Israel

The Silicon Photonics Team is looking for an RFIC Design Engineer that will be responsible for test and characterization of advanced photonics devices for RF circuits, including DC, RF, and Load Pull characterization.

Develop test procedures and strategies to carry out system testing, as well as design test fixtures for system testing.

Skill Set Desired

  • MS, or BS with 2+ years of experience in relevant technical disciplines
  • Perform RF load-pull characterization of devices. This includes performing system calibration, test fixture development/assembly, and data collection of power sweeps and load-pull contours.
  • Signal integrity design experience - an advantage.
  • Perform s-parameter characterization of devices using a network analyzer.
  • Assemble and tune broadband and narrow-band test circuits to support both design and test engineering.
  • Perform RF and DC characterization of devices as required using either an automated or manual probe station.
  • Strong background and hands-on experience in RF testing including load pull, s-parameters, noise, and power testing.
  • Required a hands-on approach to solving problems, including working in the lab to debug circuit designs, test issues, and perform custom RF testing.
  • Required strong background in test bench setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure data integrity.
  • Understanding of semiconductor physics.
